Biographies
Sharron Donnelly
 |
Sharron Donnelly has her Masters in occupational therapy from Washington University in St. Louis and has worked in a variety of settings including Early Intervention, schools and private practice. Sharron is certified in administration of the Sensory Integration and Praxis Test and has trained extensively on sensory processing disorders. She is a Registered Interactive Metronome trainer and has experience in Auditory Integration Training, Listening Fitness and SAMONAS. Sharron is a candidate in the DIR Certificate Program and has extensive knowledge in using DIR/Floortime as a treatment model. She also has training in Social Thinking by Carol Gray.
Currently, Sharron teaches nationally for Vital Links to train other professionals in Therapeutic Listening. Sharron has attended Camp Avanti (a camp for children with sensory processing anomalies) for the last several years. Sharron and Lynette have worked closely together for over 10 years and are passionate about their work and dedicated to the kids and their families.

Lynette Burke
 |
Lynette Burke, OTR completed her training in Occupational Therapy in 1984 after graduating with a degree in Psychology/Child Development. Since that time she has practiced continuously, both treating and consulting in a variety of pediatric settings including Early Intervention programs, private schools, and private practice. She is certified in the administration of the Sensory Integration and Praxis Test and has extensive training in sensory processing disorders and treatment. Lynette is trained in Greenspans DIR Model and the use of floortime as an intervention. Lynette also has extensive training and certification in several auditory interventions including Auditory Integration Training, Therapeutic , Listening Fitness Training, SAMONAS Sound Therapy and Interactive Metronome. She also has training in Social Thinking by Carol Gray.
Currently, Lynette teaches nationally for Vital Links to train other professionals in Therapeutic Listening. She also has attended Camp Avanti for the past several years.

Sarah Kramer

Sarah
has her Masters in
OT from Pacific University
in Forest Grove, OR. She
has worked in private practice
settings specializing in
pediatrics and sensory processing
disorders. Sarah has advanced
training in Therapeutic
Listening, SAMONAS,
Interactive Metronome, and
a variety of sensory integration
techniques. Sarah has a
passion for horses and has
pursued training in hippotherapy.
She plans to incorporate
this into her practice someday.
She has attended Camp Avanti
with Sharron and Lynette
for the last 5 years where
she has had the opportunity
to work closely in the horse
program with children with
sensory processing anomalies. |
Jenny Alvarez
 |
Jenny
Alvarez received her Bachelors
degree, graduating cum laude,
from Washington University
in St. Louis, Missouri,
in 1996. She specializes
in pediatric interventions
and has worked in a wide
variety of settings, including
hospitals, schools, private
practice clinics, early
intervention, and has owned
her own private practice.
She has had extensive training
in a variety of techniques
to address sensory processing
disorders and in child development.
She is trained in Therapeutic
Listening, SAMONAS, Floortime,
Handwriting Without Tears,
NDT and Hippotherapy. She also
has training in Social Thinking

Lara Levine
 |
Lara Levine graduated with honors from Pacific University where she received her Masters in Occupational Therapy. Prior to graduate school, Lara worked for several years providing mental health services to children and families. Since graduate school, Lara has focused her work on providing services to children with sensory processing related challenges. She has pursued additional training in many areas including advanced sensory interventions, Therapeutic Listening™, First Strokes Handwriting Program, and DIR/Floortime techniques.

Jilda Veja
 |
Jilda Veja received her Master's in occupational therapy from the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, Washington in 2004. Since graduate school, Jilda has worked in early intervention providing services to children and families in Maui and Lanai. Since 1999 Jilda has been volunteering in Romania with Heart of Hope International and Medical Teams International using her knowledge as an occupational therapist to provide services to children with special needs at a summer camp and different placement centers. Jilda is certified in Infant Massage and has additional training in the Alert Program, and a variety of sensory intervention techniques.

Laine Gasparich
 |
Laine recieved her Masters degree in Occupational Therapy at the University of Washington. Prior to graduate school, Laine recieved her Bachelors of Science in psychology at Santa Clara University. In graduate school, Laine focused on pediatrics and pursued experiences and training related to sensory processing at Mary Bridge Children's Hopsiptal in Tacoma, WA. She has additional training in Therapeutic Listening, the Alert Program, and the DIR/Floortime model.
